I'm sure you will agree
that one of the greatest
joys of life is seeing
family and friends
happy. Recently, I have
seen two of my friends,
Tracy Rose and Jennifer
Smith, enter an exciting
new chapter in their
lives that is bring them
much happiness. I am
happy to share their joy
with you.
When Tracy Rose, Intuitive
Healer and Reader, first
announced the closing of
Energy Works (the Healing
center), I was shocked then
confused because I felt
happiness emanating from
her. Tracy explained that
although she was saddened by
the idea of closing her
facility, there were many
doors opening for her on a
national scale in her
private practice as a Reiki
Master, Intuitive Healer and
Workshop Facilitator. Not
only will she be conducting
workshops in other states
but she also has started
writing her first book! Her
enthusiasm was contagious
and I am happy for her.
Although the Energy Works'
facility is closed, Tracy's
work will continue locally
at the Isle of Avalon.
Starting this month, Tracy
will provide private
intuitive readings,
workshops, Reiki classes and
Guided Meditations with
Sound healing at the
store. Keep an eye on our
calendar for Tracy's

Jennifer Smith, Intuitive
Reader, is also expanding
her horizons. Jennifer is
one of the founders of
Sacred Journey Tours that
will focus on traveling on a
more spiritual level. The
first Sacred Journey tour
will be to Thailand
scheduled from July 25th
to August 8th.
Jennifer will lead a
sacred trip to Northern
Thailand and the remote hill
tribes of the Golden
Triangle. The journey will
include activities for
guests intended to
strengthen spiritual
connection within
themselves, with the people
of Thailand and with sacred
sites. Jennifer will offer
meditations and spiritual
teachings during the trip.
Travelers will also learn
Thai cooking, massage and
dance from local artists.
This trip sounds very
interesting yet relaxing. A
brochure on the trip will be
available soon at the Isle
of Avalon.

Feng Shui for

of Feng Shui and its
relationship with

Spiritual Travel

Intuitive
Jennifer Smith
will lead a
workshop on how
to make your
travel or
vacations more
spiritual. In
easy to
understand
steps, Jennifer
will advise on
how to
incorporate more
spiritual
experiences in
your travel or
vacations. The
workshop will be
followed by a
1/2 hour
discussion
(8-8:30pm) on
spiritual travel
toThailand and
Angkor Wat.
Cost is $10.
Guided Meditation and
Sound Healing!!!
Monday May 21st, 6:30 pm
Tracy
Rose, Intuitive Healer and
Reiki Master, will be
faciliting will be
facilitating a special
evening of healing to bring
people to a very deep state
of awareness, spiritual
connection and growth
through powerful guided
meditation and sound. Tracy
will be accompanied by
Michael Rose on the crystal
bowls and Mark Zampella on
shamanic drums. The cost
is $20. These events are
very popular, and space is
limited so reservations are
required.
Starting in June
Misha will begin her
next series of Belly
Dancing for Beginners
classes starting June
6th. The class will be
held every Wednesday
evening from 6:30 pm to
7:30 pm. She will be
teaching the basics on
Belly dancing. The cost
is $100 for an 8 week
class ($12.50 per
class). Discount on hip
scarves will be made on
the first night of
class. Misha's class
are very popular
and usually has a
waiting list. I urge
you to reserve your spot
soon.

Mandala is a
term used to
refer to various
objects. It is
of Hindu
origin, but is
also used in
other Dharmic
religions such
as Buddism. In
practice,
mandala has
become a generic
term for any
plan, chart or
geometric
pattern that
represents the
cosmos
metaphysically
or symbolically,
a microcosm of
the universe
from the human
perspective.
A
mandala,
especially its
center, can be
used during
meditation as an
object for
focusing
attention. Carl
Jung saw the
mandala as "a
representation
of the
unconscious
self," and
believed his
paintings of
mandalas enabled
him to identify
emotional
disorders and
work towards
wholeness in
personality.
